A lovely lass I went to college with is now in her degree year at Stevenson College and for a project she is taking photos of boys with moustaches.

Really tempted to just take myself off with say £500 and just travel about and enjoy myself with no set plans until money runs out. Realistically It’d only last about 2-3 weeks tops. It’d be fun and interesting to see where I’d end up though. If I don’t get a job straight after this one I might just do it.

Now, I’m not a huge fan but I can appreciate that he’s a young lad with a talent for what he does.

Here it is if you want to follow. I won’t put estimated costs on future recipes as the price of food increases all the time. My trick for eating cheap, but well, was to go for whatever was on offer with regards to veg etc and then base meals around those ingredients. Also it’s handy to learn what time your local supermarket reduces things at the end of the day.

Going to edit my Kevin Devine photos now (there is a video too). The gig was quite lovely and as the venue is a cafe I got off my bus and all I could hear from the bus stop to the venue was the soundcheck. It was nice to sit down with a coffee and enjoy full songs. Then a nice man brought my photopass to my table. Fair to say by the time the actual gig started I was rather chilled.

British Wildlife Fest in Leeds on 3rd March could be pretty epic
Oooh, that looks interesting! Brudenell is a fair trek from town but I could prob catch most of the Saturday bands at least (before the last train) :) Might head along to that. Also there is the mention of cake. I like cake.

If it’d had been a weekend I’d have seen if there were any cheapy T-Lodges left, but I’ve pretty much used up all the holiday time I’ve accrued so far this holiday year. And my job doesn’t finish until the 3rd. :(
