The Xcerts are supporting Twin Atlantic for the Portsmouth show of their April tour.
Really wish they were doing the Manchester date, but hey ho, I’ll get to see them soon enough. Never listened to Lower Than Atlantis and I’ve never heard of ME so I don’t really feel strongly either way, but… I was kinda hoping for other bands.
I would much rather The Xcerts than Lower Than Atlantis. They’re an alright live band, but nothing special. And their singer, Mike, had such a bad attitude after the show. I read their interview with RockSound the week prior to the gig and I thought they sounded a bit arrogant, but funny. In person, just arrogant. And he was rude to my mum which just isn’t cool.
But I saw ME with Panic! At The Disco and thought they were very entertaining on stage. They all switch around their instruments and they reminded me of Queen, so I’m looking forward to seeing them!
That’s the 2nd comment I’ve heard about their attitude :/ And if they’d have been rude to my Mum I’d prob have been fuming. I’ll check out ME this week.
